The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and / or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Description
As the Program Manager within our Financial Services Portfolio, you will work with our Corp and US Finance and Information Technology teams where we aim to provide our finance & operational professionals with modern tools that simplify their financial accounting, reporting, planning and forecasting processes and enhance analytical insights.
You will be responsible for partnering across various functions to deliver a modernized global accounting, reporting, planning, forecasting, and budgeting platform and developing and executing a vision for implementing this platform.
In this role you’ll have an opportunity to define and execute the next generation of financial tools and processes. You’ll partner with a variety of US based development teams to determine stakeholder needs, propose creative solutions to existing limitations, and break down the silos that can exist between the various entities.

Operating at the intersection of business strategy and technical development, the FP&A Solutions team works closely with senior leadership, IT, finance, GRS and Corporate to simplify and expand the company’s ability to understand both where we’ve been and where we are going.
By designing, building, and implementing centralized data, accounting, reporting and planning solutions, we play a key role in connecting our global family in a meaningful and impactful way.

Responsibilities :
- Under minimal supervision, develop and maintain standard process document, of moderate complexity, which are used to train USRM business users of the General Ledger
- Identify and introduce process improvements
- Provide technical insights and advise management on technical solutions.
- In coordination with team members and management, evaluate procedural or technical challenges, ideate on potential solutions, often involving improvement to tools, and work with peers to implement those solutions.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders regarding tool requirements and troubleshooting in support of product launches.
- Adhere to product roll-out time-lines and hand-off dates by independently prioritizing work and managing time.
- Frequently share out work with peers, manager, and cross-functional partners.
Qualifications
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, or related discipline preferred.
- Master's in same or related disciplines strongly preferred.
- 2 to 4 years experience in finance or accounting preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, PowerBI and SAP preferred.
