Firm seeks Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer. This is an executive-level position, working as the right hand person to the CEO / Owner.
COO / CFO will have broad responsibility for the management of Firm's business operations and the supervision of employees.
Entails wide range of duties and involvement in all aspects of the Firm. The COO / CFO will work on planning, strategy, leadership and policies and will engage in problem-solving, and decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, review, train and implement the Firm’s key systems in direct consultation with the CEO and Owner and other managers, including :
- Case intake and resolution
- Finance, Accounting, and Internal Financial Controls
- Facilities and equipment
- Risk Management (insurance, finances, internal controls, data security, personnel)
Perform audits & spot-checks to determine if policies and procedures are being followed and that all systems are operating as intended.
Set weekly, monthly and annual goals.Reconcile IOLA / Escrow accounts.Build a supportive, professional, and positive Firm environment and culture;
manage the day-to-day operations of the office.Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations and maintain and update the Firm Organizational Chart.
Ensure business systems & processes are fully documented in writing and available to employees as needed.Assess workflow management & benchmarking to ensure personnel and processes are performing up to par.
Lead, supervise and manage all support staff.Design workflow systems and processes to build professional and ethical representation and Firm profitability.
Work with Firm Bookkeeper and Accountant on expense management, accounts payables, payroll, audits, taxes.Develop and implement Staffing Plan, Budget, Systems Plan, Facilities Plan, Business Plan and an Annual strategic project calendar.
Oversee Office Managers.Identify and eliminate excess, unnecessary expenses and misused firm funds.Act as liaison between the Firm and the landlord, to make sure maintenance is performed and facility issues are addressed.
Perform evaluations of the computer and telephone systems, including hardware, software, and vendor selection, to ensure peak efficiency.
Update all critical documents with government and other agencies (ie. corporate filings, taxes & licensure and insurance).
Track fees from outside firms.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record of project management and of leading cross-functional teams.
- Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills with an eye toward detail.
- Skill in interpreting data and generating actions based upon findings.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills.
- Have a can-do attitude, low ego, and high EQ.
- Ability to try new things, and learn quickly can think on your feet.
- Desire and ability to take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment while making critical decisions on a daily basis.
- Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong analytical skills.
- Understanding of office management practices including accounting procedures and information systems.
- Proven track record of KPI management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or other similar software program.
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior management position.
SALARY RANGE : 175k - 225k

PAY : $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
