We are actively seeking a Director of Nursing for our skilled Nursing facility.
Duties Include :
- Management responsibilities including maintaining exceptional quality of care for Residents in the facility.
- Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.
- Meet the nursing needs of all residents.
- Coordinate and direct care planning for nursing services.
- Maintain and disseminate knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records.
- Conduct interviews with respective nursing candidates and guide the hiring and onboarding process to ensure proper clinical staffing needs.
- Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs.
Requirements Include :
- Current New York State RN license required .
- Minimum 3 years experience in Long-Term Care settings.
- Innovative trainings with clinical staff in the building.
- Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
Necessary Skills / Qualifications :
Evidence of advanced leadership skills and supervision.
