Job Description
Exciting growth opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA for a highly motivated Project Manager seeking to elevate their career by taking on a leadership position.
The successful candidate will manage complex, multi-disciplinary aviation projects and will be responsible for developing client relationships in Southwestern PA.
Successful candidate will be technically well-versed, licensed P.E., with at least 10 years of progressive experience providing aviation related design, project planning, construction administration and client management services for commercial and general aviation airports.
Responsibilities include ensuring continued success of MJs Aviation Group by :
- Delivering high quality products and superior client service.
- Maintaining and growing MJs client base in SW PA.
- Managing, planning, and scheduling work efforts on multiple airport improvement projects.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to multi-disciplinary teams.
- Leading and presenting at meetings with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Actively participating in industry organizations and events.
Qualifications
Candidate criteria and minimum qualifications required to perform job competently, include :
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from accredited university preferred
- Solid technical background with Licensed Professional Engineer in PA required.
- Knowledge of and experience in PAs aviation market, including funding sources.
- Working knowledge of design software packages such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- Must not require sponsorship, now or in the future, to be considered for this role.
