Overview

Private Duty LPN - 3 / 4 Split Shift

Location : McKenzie, TN

Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated LPN to provide in-home care for a client in McKenzie, TN. This role offers a consistent weekly schedule with a total of 84 hours, utilizing a 3 / 4 split shift pattern from 7am to 7pm.

Ideal for nurses seeking predictable, full-time hours in a one-on-one setting.

Work Schedule :

3 / 4 Split Shift : Total of 84 hours per week

Shift Times : 7am - 7pm

Skills Required :

• Ventilator Care
• G-Tube Management

Experience Requirement :

Must have 1 year of nursing experience due to trach care needs.

Training Available : Comprehensive training is offered if the experience requirement is met.

Responsibilities

• Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice
• Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN
• Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations
• Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately
• Observe, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and reports any changes
• Administer medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN and document the patient's file accordingly
• Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary patient case conferences, staff meetings and in-service education programs as assigned

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing
• Previous private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Active CPR certification
• Familiarity with electronic health records
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
