Minimum Qualifications :

  • Welding and mechanical skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Front end Loader experience (Cat 980 or equivalent)
  • Ability to work at heights

Day in the Life

We’re seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator to be the secret ingredient in our recipe for success! The oil that keeps our operation running smoothly, mixing, pouring, and paving the way to excellence.

Embrace the heat, grit, and grind as you assist in the creation of every load in a step closer to building the roads of tomorrow.

You will help to maintain the plant on a daily basis, performing the routine maintenance of lubrication and conducting major and minor repairs, operate a loader to feed the plant, load scale trucks, and maintain inventory of parts.

Attention to detail will be imperative when completing daily, weekly, and monthly equipment inspections and maintenance logs.

You will have a full understanding of the operation, coordinating work and collaborating with the plant superintendent. Strong communication skills with other team members, managers, and customers and a safety focused mindset will be essential to ensure the highest quality of asphalt products.
