About The Position
- Job Title : RN Clinical Nurse - Neonatal ICU Job Specialty : Registered Nurse - Inpatient Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day (6 : 45 AM - 7 : 15 PM), 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule, 2 major and 2 minor holidays Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Less than 1 year required;
- completion of accredited / approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours License : Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) Must-Have : Ability to read, write, and speak English;
strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; ability to function in a fast-paced environment; excellent time management and critical thinking skills Job Description : - Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) with evidence-based practice.
- Provide patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity.- Coordinate care planning with patients and significant others.
- Ensure timely documentation and promote an inclusive clinical environment.- Support performance improvement and participate in research.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor for other nurses and staff or students.- Uphold health care system policies and accreditation standards.
- Actively participate in data collection and consult with appropriate experts.- Proactively plan for patient care across the continuum.
- Collaborate in developing protocols to achieve best practice outcomes.- Support efficient use of human and material resources.
- Comply with all health system policies, standards, and code of conduct. Note : Day shift required with specific weekend and holiday shifts.
