We are looking for Direct Support Professional (DSP) House Manager who exemplify that mission, and who want to work for an organization that makes a difference.

What will you be doing?
- DSP House Manager is responsible for working with individual clients under the direction of a Case Manager.
- Responsible for providing daily documentation of services provided, including but not limited to recreation, leisure, and activities of daily activities for each client to whom they are responsible.
- DSP House Manger will assure client rights, dignity, and privacy, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Be familiar with and maintain all applicable program and agency regulations.
- DSP House Manager will function as a member of the Interdisciplinary team.
- Responsible for day-to-day operation of group home.
- DSP House Manager works with clients with various behaviors, which can include but are not limited to verbal aggression, physical aggression, self-injurious behavior, property destruction, and elopement.
- DSP House Manager may also work with clients who require intensive care including but not limited to toileting and bathing with transfer, special diets with personal feeding, and enhanced rate funding.
What will you bring to the table?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One-year experience working with persons with developmental or behavioral health disabilities (required)
What are the other requirements?
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds to assist in two-person lift or with use of adaptive equipment.
- Pass TABE literacy test.
- Must complete required DSP and Medication Administration Training, including, CPR, First Aid, Infection Control, OIG Rule 50, and CPI.
- Must maintain medication administration authorization by following all policies and procedures.
- Individual will be expected to stay onsite for a 3 4 day period (continuous) - Evening, weekend, overnight, and holiday hours required.
- Individual must have and maintain a valid Illinois driver’s license.
- The use of a personal automobile and the minimum amount of automobile liability insurance as defined in the Association’s personnel policy is required.
- Transport clients in personal automobile.
- Must meet and maintain IDOT Approved Driver Status.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Attendance : Working scheduled hours at various locations as determined by client and program needs is required.
- Must attend scheduled in-service trainings.
