Position Overview : We are looking for a talented School Occupational Therapist to deliver exceptional therapy services to students in local schools.
In this role, you will be essential in promoting students' independence and enhancing their participation in academic and daily activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on fine motor skills, visual perception, sensory integration, and self-care tasks.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to incorporate therapy goals into the educational curriculum.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering your expertise to support students' needs.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous experience in a school setting is desirable, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
