Direct Hire / Day Shift
Summary :
Maintenance Technician "A" to perform highly diversified duties; install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
In accordance with safety regulations. Perform predictive and preventive procedures to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities :
- Process electrical control knowledge
- Process industrial machinery knowledge
- Ability to test electrical and mechanical equipment and components
- Diagnose root cause of electrical and mechanical failures
- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Install, repair, and maintain automated machinery and mechanical equipment
- Install, repair, and maintain plant facilities equipment
- General machinist Abilities Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment
- Fast and retentive leaner
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
Qualifications and Skills :
- Requires a high school diploma / GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
- An associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience, strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
