The Senior Director, Health IT and Innovation is a key member of the Technology and Consulting Services (TCS) Federal Health Leadership Team and is responsible for leading activities in the IT and Innovation solution areas of the Health Market.
This role combines strong collaboration of business process management knowledge with innovative technology experience and Federal Health agency knowledge and expertise.
The Senior Director of Health IT and Innovation will work in collaboration with other Business Development leaders, Market leaders, Capture and Delivery teams, under the direction of the Managing Director of TCS Health and Digital Growth.
What You Will Do :
- Introduce innovation and influence government leaders thinking and shaping the Federal Health market.
- Drive our brand by influencing marketing and communications in support of growth and business development for TCS Federal Health around innovative solutions.
- Position Health IT and Innovation solutions to new and existing clients within the Federal Health market.
- Conduct supportive business development to identify, qualify and pre-capture activities for opportunities in the areas of emerging technologies and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate and work with TCS solution leads, Capture team and other support teams to support opportunity pursuit, pricing, contractual and proposal development.
- Evaluate and analyze existing healthcare IT systems, identifying areas for improvement and developing cutting-edge solutions.
- Develop solutions and / or prototypes to enhance healthcare delivery through technology and innovation.
- Develop solutions and / or prototypes encompassing the integration of innovative technologies (i.e., electronic health records (EHR), telemedicine, and AI-driven tools).
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, Federal Health agency officials and other stakeholders.
- Participate and represent TCS Federal Health as a Technical SME at industry events, conferences, and agency-focused initiatives.
Required Skills or Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in the private sector, government, or a combination thereof with familiarity of Federal Health current solutions, capabilities, and technology.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
- Extensive experience in healthcare IT solutioning and consulting, with a proven track record of leading large-scale innovations.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex systems and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance within healthcare IT systems.
Desired Skills or Qualifications :
- Advanced degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of business and technology solutions that the federal government purchases with a vision toward innovation and strategic solutions Federal Health.
- Existing relationships with relevant federal government officials, federal partners, and federal industry preferred vendors, most particularly in Federal Health.
- Knowledge of Federal Health procurement practices and business development life cycle.
- Proven history of successful solutioning and market shaping leading to wins in the Federal Health market.

Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
Annual Base Pay Minimum for this Position : $176,300.00
