Wood is currently searching for a Senior Fire Protection / Process Safety Engineer to participate on projects conducted at the Wood Houston - Park Ten campus.
Project scope may vary, but will primarily focus on providing input, analysis and oversight pertaining to Process Hazards Analysis (PHA), Risk Management, and Fire Protection studies.
Projects include both onshore and offshore facilities. Candidates should possess the following skills and attributes :

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or other equivalent certification from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 10 years of technical safety, fire protection and / or process safety engineering experience
- Highly proficient in fire & gas detection mapping software (., HAZMAP 3D)
- Highly proficient in PIPENET
- Proficient in AutoCAD a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
- Occasional field visits, climbing stairs, ladders and lifting up to 25 lbs
