Our Mission

JW Pepper distribution center is hiring to fill several positions in order processing and inventory stocking. This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8 : 30am to 5 : 30pm.

All applicants must be flexible to accommodate seasonal overtime needs, which includes some evening and Saturday hours. Starting wage $16.

00 an hour. Applicants must successfully pass all pre-hire screenings, including background checks and drug tests.

Job Description

Order fulfillment / picking using RF scanner gun. Responsible for completeness and accuracy for all orders filled in a manner that meets company standards for quality and productivity.

Quality control / shipping clerk. Responsible for accurately checking, packaging, invoicing and manifesting customer orders in a manner that meets company standards for quality and productivity.

Inventory stocking using RF scanner gun. Responsible for stock put away, replenishment and other basic inventory functions.

In an effort to provide the highest level of customer service, all warehouse associates will be cross trained to be proficient in other basic warehouse functions depending on departmental needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.

Must be able to count accurately and perform simple math.

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Must be capable of twisting, stooping, squatting, and reaching above shoulder level and crouching on a frequent basis.

Must be able to lift 30 lbs frequently.

Must be able to push / pull a cart, climb up and down a ladder.

Must be able to establish and shift priorities easily.

Must be able to follow directions with emphasis on safety is very important.

Must be able to handle stress that is involved in meeting deadlines due to tight scheduling.

Must be able to accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Must be positive and friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Training opportunities available for forklift and electric pallet jack operation.

Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
