Position : Senior Tax Accountant
Location : Chardon, OH(Hybrid)

Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in tax regulations and accounting principles, with a strong ability to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports.
This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with tax laws while providing strategic insights to enhance financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses .
- Conduct thorough financial report interpretation to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform financial auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Analyze accounts and prepare detailed financial statements, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.
- Execute account reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to maintain precise financial records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on tax implications related to business decisions.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, advising management on potential impacts.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by providing relevant financial data analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Tax Accountant or similar role with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial statement preparation, account analysis, and financial auditing techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with accounting software and tax preparation tools is highly desirable.
