Electronics telecommunications device client seeks a Calibration Technician for their El Segundo location. $26-49 / hr DOE.
Job type : 2-year contract
Location : Fully onsite in El Segundo, CA
Schedule : 8am-4 : 30pm
Description :
- Calibrate and perform adjustments on Measurement and Test Equipment, Electronic, Mechanical.
- Use test automation platforms and software to calibrate Measurement and Test Equipment.
- Perform manual calibration procedures on Measurement and Test Equipment.
- Work on administrative assignments with clearly defined objectives according to prescribed procedures.
- Communicate with :
- internal teams to request work orders with specific requirements.
- external vendors to request service quotes and status requests.
- customers for issue resolution and response.
- Physical movement of equipment up to 20 lbs.
- Solve a broad range of service / support problems varying in scope and complexity.
Requirements :
- 3+ years relevant experience.
- 2 year technical degree or equivalent training / certification, desired.
- Solid working knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office applications including Outlook and Excel.
- Experience with database tracking and management systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers
- Strong attention to details and organizational skills
- Requires complete understanding of general and technical aspects of job.
- Work in a team environment and provide responsive customer service to team members even with constant interruptions.
