What You Will Be Doing :
This requisition is for an Experienced Electronic Attack Systems Engineering role within the RMS Integrated Engineering (IE) Airborne Electronic Warfare (AEW) organization supporting government airborne platforms.
In general, the tasks involved in this position are highly technical and focused on electronic warfare; RF emitters and antennas, their use and limitations;
and the computing systems that are used in this domain.
General tasks may include :
- Counter-Radar Electronic Attack Technique Development
- Algorithm / model development
- Establishing system requirements / architecture
- Counter-Radar Electronic Attack Technique Analysis / Verification
- Use of RF test equipment
- Radar emitter simulation programming
- Mission Data Load (emitter) programming
- Creation of test automation scripts for I&T and sell-off
- Investigation of Program Trouble Reports (PTRs)
- Analysis of test data
- Test procedure development / review / execution
- Project lead for a small team of Systems Engineers
- Support to customer events
- Support of proposal development
Lockheed Martin Owego provides Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering expertise for a wide variety of airborne platforms used by the Department of Defense and International military customers.
The Owego campus has over 45 years supporting EW development with over 3000 systems developed and fielded Worldwide.
Owego, New York is located about 200 miles northwest of New York City and about 75 miles south of Syracuse New York. Owego sits just north of the border with Pennsylvania and is part of what's known as the Southern Tier" section of New York State.
The region is home to Binghamton University and Cornell University. Niagara Falls, NYC, & Philadelphia are all within a few hours’ drive from Owego.

Desired skills
- Strong background in radar design, EA design, radar signal processing, radar waveforms, hardware, software, or firmware development
- EA Technique development experience
- Understanding of IQ and IQ waveform generation
- Understanding of radar signal processing
- Electronic Attack (EA) subsystem / system development and integration experience
- Expert user of RF test equipment (pulsed signal generators (vector, analog, and list), signal / spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, peak power meters)
- Understanding of radar threats and tactics
- Familiarity with intel databases (e.g. EWIR, CED)
- Demonstrated technical leadership
- Proficiency in Python or C++
- Top Secret Clearance or Secret with an investigation within the last 5 years
