We are seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant for a prominent law firm in the Metro Detroit area
Job Description
- Experience with general corporate matters, including entity formation, deal structure, UCC, drafting closing documents and corporate resolutions, closing preparation and closing books.
- Document Management : Ensure timely filing of all legal documents and respond to document requests in a timely manner.
- Legal Document Preparation : Prepare and review various corporate documents, including bylaws, minutes, resolutions, and contracts.
- Assist with Document Production : Support attorneys in the production of legal documents as needed.
- Subsidiary Company Matters : Assist in managing subsidiary company matters, maintaining corporate records, and ensuring compliance.
Requirements
- Experience within a legal department or at law firm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
