Responsibilities

Center for Change is seeking a part-time registered nurse to assist the clinical and nursing staff in providing secure, safe, and supportive treatment to inpatients suffering from an eating disorder.

Since 1996, the Center's philosophy on treating eating disorders focuses on providing patients with opportunities to explore and redevelop a healthy relationship with food, helping them eat intuitively according to hunger and fullness.

Each patient at the Center receives individual counseling sessions with a therapist, dietitian, and medical professionals.

Center for Change in Orem, UT has openings for part time Registered Nurses to assist the clinical staff in providing secure, safe, and supportive treatment to inpatients suffering from anorexia and bulimia.

Center for Change, one of the most respected facilities for the treatment of eating disorders, is seeking nurses to collaborate with The Center's multidisciplinary treatment team.

Center for Change is not the typical acute psychiatric environment. The Registered Nurses at Center for Change experience opportunities to provide a variety of nursing interventions related to both behavioral health nursing and medical nursing care.

Individuals with eating disorders present with a wide range of symptoms that manifest in both the mind and body. We are looking for individuals that are able to address both in a kind and compassionate manner, and actively participate in the ongoing care and treatment of the whole person.

Qualifications

• Professional Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah
• One to two years' experience preferred
• Previous experience in psychiatric nursing preferred
