Summary :

The Manager National Accounts is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key merchant and private brand team members to execute strategic growth plans that align with Vi-Jon growth and financial goals.

The Manager National Accounts will provide market information; initiate monthly on-site visits; and participate in trade shows.

The Manager National Accounts will develop, maintain, and expand customer base; achieving sales volume and profits consistent with company objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Present new products and a full line of the company's capabilities; pursue and evaluate new business potential, visit stores, evaluate codes, make recommendations on product offerings
  • Forecast sales consumption demand, quantities, and trends. Compare sales performance to budget actuals and develop plan to exceed sales budgets
  • Provide customer support through on-site visits, follow-up on customer requests, resolving customer problems with creative solutions, develop product line information, review and process customer correspondence, review customer artwork
  • Coordinate sales efforts by prepare pricing, samples, correspondence, resolve shipping problems, and provide information for sales presentations
  • Review Finished Goods on Hand report and Excess or Slow Moving inventory; interface with customer and production; complete weekly sales report, sample request, art work requirements
  • Customize marketing information; prepare sales documentation, which includes product information, sales quotes, and delivery information
  • Identify customer problems; make emergency on-site visits when needed; suggest and implement solutions
  • Networking within national accounts in order to secure all business opportunities
  • Ensuring internal company functions give the highest level of customer service to national accounts
  • Monitoring incoming orders and ensuring these are fulfilled effectively
  • Holding regular cadence of meetings with internal stakeholders about key accounts
  • Investigating and resolving queries and issues raised by national accounts
  • Taking a proactive approach to account management
  • Arranging meetings with all relevant decision makers within the customer

Education Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field

Experience Requirements :

5 + years of experience as a salesperson in a buyer / sales relationship and extensive sales experience in the Consumer Products Industry.

Preferred experience in Private Brands as well as Personal Care Products and Health & Beauty.

Competencies :

  • Knowledge of the consumer products industry, national brand / private label industry, and / or the health and beauty care
  • Communicate sales information, trends, and account specific insights to management team and category marketing.
  • Broad business background to include product forecasting and understand customer margin / profitability data
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of growing business
  • Knowledge of sales analysis and metrics, with proficiency in Retail Link, Nielsen Data preferred
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated team player, ability to work well with others and motivate people
  • Project management skills

This manager will identify and develop regional, national, and individual programs designed to broaden penetration to support new business growth Vi-Jon Professional in the Away From Home Channel.

The Manger National Accounts is responsible for aligning with Professional sales and general management leadership for planning integration and effective execution of plans and goals.

This manager will possess strong interpersonal skills to build long-term customer relationships and to represent the company in front of all internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Generate revenue
  • Maintain margins within established guidelines
  • Establish, develop and maintain new customer relationships in focus segments to generate new business for Vi-Jon Professional
  • Identify, build and execute a sound sales plan and maintain key information on prospects for business and customer development
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve goals for new sales
  • Author and deliver clear and effective customized sales presentations and proposals
  • Build strong and strategic relationships with targeted distributors, specifically executive management, senior sales members and sourcing management
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, topics and issues for both product and channel
  • Engage and collaborate with internal team members for alignment and effective execution
  • Maintain pricing structure and programs with key channel partners
  • Attend tradeshows to achieve company objectives
  • Conduct business reviews with key customers and stakeholders
  • Work with internal stakeholders / legal to align strategy and pricing for key accounts

Experience Requirements :

10+ years’ experience in Healthcare Sales.

  • Familiarity of professional markets and commercial distribution
  • Experience in selling key end user accounts, national accounts
  • Experience in selling non-durable packaged products
  • Experience in medical markets including Group Purchasing Agreements and Distribution

This manager will possess strong interpersonal skills to build long-term customer relationships and to represent the company in front of all internal and external stakeholders.

The Manger National Accounts is responsible for aligning with Professional sales and general management leadership for planning integration and effective execution of plans and goals.

This manager will possess strong interpersonal skills to build long-term customer relationships and to represent the company in front of all internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Build strong and strategic relationships with targeted distributors, specifically executive management, senior sales members and sourcing management.
  • Generate revenue and grow the JanSan channel
  • Maintain margins within established guidelines
  • Identify, build and execute a sound sales plan and maintain key information on prospects for business and customer development
  • Author and deliver clear and effective customized sales presentations and proposals
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, topics and issues for both product and channel
  • Serves as a consultative partner to all Jan San Distributor customers on business related issues both specific to Vi-Jon and the JanSan industry in our market
  • Expected to become extremely knowledgeable on all things related to Vi-Jon including, but not limited to; operational procedures, channel management promotions, pricing programs and contract management
  • Engage and collaborate with internal team members for alignment and effective execution
