JOB SUMMARY
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients in collaboration with a physician.
This individual works within a cooperative department, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction.
Marshfield Clinic is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine / Urgent Care NP or PA to join their River Regions team. You will float to our Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids Centers in this role.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Required Education : Master’s degree nurse practitioner / Physician Assistant.
Preferred / Optional : None
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required : one to two years experience in ED / UC at APC level
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
Minimum Required
- Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License.
- Nurse Practitioner Certification awarded by a national certifying body.
- Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber Certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association.
Preferred / Optional : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
