OT or COTA - Occupational Therapist needed for a travel assignment with a supportive school in the Buckhead area, 20 minutes outside Atlanta, GA.

Weekly Pay + Housing / Meal Stipends + Benefits offered!

• Duration : October 2024 - May 2025
• Hours : School-Based / 35 hours week
• Caseload : K-12th

Responsibilities :

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care abilities, and other areas related to occupational performance.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings, IEP objectives, and input from parents, teachers, and other team members.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, sensory integration activities, adaptive equipment training, and environmental modifications.
• Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, physical therapists, and other professionals to integrate occupational therapy goals into students' educational plans and activities.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate findings and recommendations to the IEP team and parents.

OT Qualifications :

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Bachelors Degree for a COTA
• Active State Occupational Therapy License
• Experience working with children or adolescents in a school-based or clinicsetting is preferred but not required
• Background Check
