Responsibilities : Reviews physician referrals, obtains and verifies information with patients and insurance companies. Coordinates daily scheduling of patients.
Manages telephone and foot traffic of the outpatient clinic. Assists in management / correction of patient account work queues.
Coordinates with insurance verification specialist and billing departments to manage patient accounts.
Requirements : High School Diploma and 1-2 years’ college required. Previous experience in an outpatient business office required.
Must have experience working with insurance carriers and verifying patient coverage. EPIC experience preferred. Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
Must be able to work 4-5 Saturdays per year.
Work Schedule : Part-time, 20 hours per week. Monday Friday, 8 : 30am 12 : 30pm
