Adventist Health Rideout is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic PA to join our thriving program in beautiful Northern CA just outside of Sacramento.
- Office-based pre-op H&P and post-op recovery of both Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery patients including, OR and CVICU.
- The position is very autonomous and performing at a high level of acuity and responsibility.
- OR assisting for both Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery cases including Endoscopic Vein Harvesting using the MAquet VasoView Hemepro 2 system.
- Performance of bedside procedures including thoracentesis, chest tube placement, arterial lines and central venous access
- Daily duties to be split 50 / 50 with current PA. Working as a team the candidate will alternate daily between the OR and non-surgical duties.
- Currently 2 surgeons and 1 PA doing 100+ hearts a year plus about the same number of thoracic cases annually.
- Endoscopic Vein Harvesting : 1 year (Required)
- Cardiac Surgery First Assist : 1 year (Required)
- Weekend and evening call coverage (Required)
Experience :
Provider must be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards.

Wage Scale : $200,000-225,000 / year
