About the Job :

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL, working on large-scale projects. This role will focus on the design, analysis, and installation of mechanical systems, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to meet project requirements.

What you'll be doing :

  • Design and develop mechanical systems from scratch, including analysis of stress, fatigue, and acceleration forces.
  • Conduct material stress design and load calculations.
  • Perform system integration and installation, with thorough documentation of configuration and operation.
  • Develop and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create detailed mechanical drawings and assemblies.
  • Analyze system design for risk and hazard mitigation.
  • Ensure safety compliance, particularly related to amusement ride systems and ASTM standards.
  • Serve as technical lead on projects and manage smaller project teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external contractors to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements :

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical system design, stress analysis, and AutoCAD / SolidWorks.
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
  • Experience with amusement ride safety standards (ASTM standards).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 35%.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and manage project deadlines.
