We are currently seeking a highly qualified civil engineer for our esteemed client, a prominent civil engineering firm. Our client is a well-established engineering firm renowned for delivering cutting-edge infrastructure solutions and maintaining a strong commitment to sustainable practices.

They are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join their team and contribute to the successful execution of diverse and impactful projects.

Position Summary : The Civil Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, development, and management of projects related to traffic systems, roadway infrastructure, and residential developments.

This role requires collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and engineering professionals to ensure project success and adherence to quality, regulatory, and budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Traffic Engineering :

  • Design and assess traffic management systems to enhance safety and efficiency.
  • Conduct traffic studies and simulations to identify and address congestion and safety issues.
  • Develop and implement traffic signal plans and coordinate with local authorities.
  • Analyze traffic flow data to recommend infrastructure improvements.

Roadway Design :

  • Create detailed plans for roadway construction, including alignment, grading, and drainage.
  • Use engineering software to produce accurate designs and models.
  • Ensure roadway designs comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare construction documents and specifications for roadway projects.

Residential Design :

  • Design residential infrastructure such as streets, sidewalks, and utilities.
  • Collaborate with architects and urban planners to align residential designs with community plans.
  • Conduct site assessments for residential development suitability and identify challenges.
  • Prepare cost estimates and project schedules for residential projects.

Project Management :

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address project needs.
  • Prepare and present project reports, updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Monitor construction activities for compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Quality Assurance :

  • Perform site inspections to ensure construction quality and compliance.
  • Resolve engineering problems and issues during project execution.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (PE) preferred.
  • Relevant experience in traffic engineering, roadway design, and residential infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Synchro).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards and engineering best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

This position requires a US Citizenship or Green Card as the client is not able to provide sponsorship.
