Position Summary
The client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join their team in a crucial role that demands advanced Excel proficiency and technical accounting expertise.
As an integral member of their team, you will be responsible for leveraging your exceptional Excel skills to support various financial tasks and analyses.
The success of this position hinges on your ability to navigate complex Excel functions and formulas effectively. In addition to Excel proficiency, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical accounting, with a preference for experience with SEC regulations.
You will be tasked with ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, requiring a deep understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
As part of the selection process, candidates will undergo an advanced Excel assessment to gauge their proficiency.

In This Role, You Will
- Partner with leadership team to formulate strategies towards the company's long-term financial health and expense optimization and to drive results.
- Responsible for the financial statements consolidation / preparation, reporting, and accounting operations.
- Support accounting management and formulate / maintain accounting controls.
- Manage month end close process and lead financial reviews.
- Research accounting issues for compliance with GAAP.
- Establish meaningful metrics / analyses to measure performance and to proactively identify potential issues.
- Develop and implement accounting policies within the functions.
- Key contact for annual audits and system projects
Essential Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive accounting experience with min of 5 years in people management.
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Business or related field of study; MBA, CPA Preferred.
- Critical thinker with excellent analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP with demonstrated ability to conduct research and evaluate complex accounting transactions / changes.
- Ability to manage competing priorities under time pressure and adapt to changing priorities and environment.
- Drive transformation and focus on continuous improvement to attain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Advanced MS Excel skills
