Position Summary :
Responsible for developing, creating and executing Design Verification Plans (DVP). Work with design group, project leaders, and test assets in a matrixed organization to drive successful project outcomes.
Position Responsibilities :
- Development of metrics, test methods, procedures, data capture, and technical reports for new products
- Ability to use mills, lathes, saws, & general machining skills
- Will be required to conduct testing in addition to advising and supporting the training and activities of peers within skill set
- Continuous improvement of the DVP and DVPR (Report) process
- Decides on pass / fail criteria of components and assemblies for specific applications
- Design test fixtures using 3D modeling
- Create custom test setups to recreate vehicle loading in a repeatable and accurate manner
- Responsible for operating data acquisition systems to boost development, test efficiency, and product performance
- Responsible for operation and development of lab test equipment such as a shock dyno, MTS hydraulic system, tensile tester, data acquisition sensors.
- Manages 5 to 10 projects concurrently
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required :
- Proficient PC skills required : Excel, Word, PowerPoint, 3D modeling
- Ability to use Matlab, VB, ladder logic, C++ Java, or any other programming language that would benefit data processing and analysis.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and FEA a plus
- Ability to bring fresh ideas to improve company innovation and profitability

Position Qualifications :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience :
4+ years of relevant experience in either defense industry, suspension damper development, power sports industry, or automotive industry preferred
Experience with setting up new test equipment / machines preferred
Work Environment and Physical Requirements :
Office / Test Lab Environment
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
May lift up to 50 lbs.
Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time

Compensation Range $97,058 - $133,455
The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Fox reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge;
skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
