Michigan engineering firm specializing in athletic and recreational facilities projects is hiring a Landscape Architect for their office in the Detroit area!
Responsibilities :
- Ability to grow in organization with project management / design responsibilities
- Work on projects from planning / design through completion
- Prepare project plan documents / reports
- As part of the design team, plan, schedule and coordinate technical aspect of projects
- Communicate / resolve technical issues
- Present / explain designs
- Review / respond to construction RFIs and submittals
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture
- 3-6 years of experience
- Project Management experience preferred
- Sports / recreation design experience (including Athletic Fields) preferred
- Strong knowledge of site grading concepts
- Knowledge / interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards and all areas of design / design methods
- Experience with schematic design, design development and construction documents
- Proficient in relevant drafting / design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat
Salary is commensurate with experience.
