Job Description :
The Welder I performs entry-level work under close supervision. The role involves using an Arc welder and electrode rods to perform tack and bead welds, as well as an oxygen / acetylene torch for cutting metals.
The Welder I operates hand and power tools to grind, bevel, fit metals together, and remove slag. The position requires selecting proper electrodes and holders, and regulating current and time.
Welding certification is preferred and one year of experience is required.
Hard Skills :Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Ephrata, Pennsylvania.
Work Environment
Clean and well-lit shop. Organized and stations are cleaned up every day 15 minutes before the shift is over. Not climate controlled.
