Job Overview :

As a Vehicle Lot Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of our vehicle lot. Your duties will encompass verifying, organizing, and documenting essential information about repossessed vehicles.

You'll enjoy the thrill of working outdoors and engaging with a diverse team, making this position an ideal entry point into the automotive repossession industry.

Responsibilities :

  • Take charge of verifying that all vehicles secured the night before are present on the lot, accurately marking their windows with essential details like the last six of the VIN, client, key status, and driveable status.
  • Embrace your photography skills as you capture and upload photos of all repossessed vehicles, maintaining comprehensive records.
  • Manage appointments, delivery times, and transport information with efficiency and precision.
  • Exhibit your exceptional customer service skills as you handle customer personal property pick-ups and vehicle redemptions.
  • Maintain a detailed record of daily deliveries and shipments to ensure a well-organized inventory.
  • Step up and assist the Repossession Agents when needed, showcasing your teamwork spirit.
  • Review lot inventory and schedule transportation for vehicles that require delivery.
  • Demonstrate your organizational prowess by cleaning out personal property from vehicles, accurately inventorying and marking them with proper identification.
  • Keep a watchful eye on the property area, removing outdated property to maintain an orderly and efficient workspace.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members across the state.

Requirements :

  • 1-2 years of relevant customer service experience, preferably in the automotive field, warehouse, recovery, or collections.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient computer and keyboarding skills, including the ability to operate a tablet with apps.
  • Working knowledge of the repossession process, account handling, and vendor communication (preferred).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Highly organized and capable of meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, exhibiting professionalism, courtesy, and outstanding oral and written communication.
  • Ability to work well with diverse customers and workforce populations.
  • Assertive, with effective investigative and follow-up skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed and prioritize workload for adherence to strict deadlines.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Physically able to use a tablet, laptop, and cell phone, as well as sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with the public.
  • Bonuses : Towing Experience, experience dealing with the general public, organizational and time management skills, computer skills, repossession experience, knowledge of Recovery Database Network, and possession of a DOT Medical Card.

Compensation & Benefits :

  • Starting at $16 - $18 / hour depending on experience. With room for growth after the 90-day review!
  • Receive a monthly bonus based on individual performance, with the potential for up to an additional $2500 per year.
  • Receive a monthly bonus based on company performance, with the potential for up to an additional $1200 per year.
  • $500 Sign on bonus on the first pay check!
  • Work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
