Summary Operating Title Assistant Director of Employer Relations (Open to Internal Candidates Only) Long Classification Title Educational Program Coordinator II Campus Location Durham Department UNH Center for Career and Professional Success Summary of Position Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Employer Relations and Operations, The Assistant Director is responsible for coordinating and managing university wide career fairs and events, sponsorships, and initiatives within the Career and Professional Success.
This role requires a dynamic individual capable of fostering relationships with stakeholders, overseeing operations, and driving sponsorship growth.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and a strategic mindset to enhance the effectiveness of events and programs.

- Bachelor’s degree required
- Three to five years’ experience in higher education and at least three years’ experience working broadly in the field of employer relations and events management
- Demonstrated project management and implementation skills
- Demonstrate experience using Lean Six Sigma process practices to feed continuous process improvement
- Demonstrated experience using technology platforms such as Salesforce and Handshake, including the design and use of reports and dashboards for data analysis
- Demonstrated experience in developing partnerships, coordinating, and communicating across units
- Relationship building and conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Strong adherence to ethical principles
- Ability to prioritize
- Autonomous, self-driven dynamo
