We seek an well-rounded Superintendent to join our team and oversee new construction and renovation projects for commercial and retail clients.
We prefer this candidate has experience in some combo of Retail, Commercial, Warehouse, Banks, Tenant Build Outs, T.I., Office, Tenant Improvements, Renovations, and Bidding as well as additional knowledge of related topics.
The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that a construction project is completed on time and according to all regulations and safety standards.
They will lead the project team, oversee subcontractors, manage budgets, schedules and quality control, and ensure that the project is completed within budget and on schedule.
Specific responsibilities of the Superintendent include :
- Developing and implementing project plans, budgets, and schedules
- Monitoring and adjusting progress of projects
- Supervising workers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensuring that all safety and quality standards are met
- Conducting inspections of worksite during and after project
- Identifying and resolving any problems that arise
Qualifications for the position of Superintendent include :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent
- Proficiency in Construction, Retail, Commercial, Warehouse, Banks, Tenant Build Outs, T.I., Office, Tenant Improvements, and Renovations
- Understanding of safety regulations and quality standards
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of construction bidding and budgeting processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
