Description
- Responsible for promoting high quality patient care through clinical care, consultation, and patient education, integrating clinical research findings in daily practice.
- Role includes working with clinical staff to assure high quality, individualized care for patients with wound, skin, and continence needs.
- Coordinates plan of care with healthcare team for each patient.
- Supports and maintains the concept of teamwork to deliver care.
Requirements :
- Registered Nurse, B.S.
- Kentucky License
- Certified Wound Ostomy & Continence Nurse; must be willing to achieve as soon as possible if not met
- Minimum of two years Nursing experience
- Experience in education preferred
- Must be willing to achieve and maintain WOCN certifications
