We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our interdisciplinary team.
Location : fully Remote is acceptable for this job
Primary Responsibilities
- Solve structural engineering problems on complex ship design projects.
- Develop technical specifications, analysis reports, calculations, briefings, status reports and test procedures.
- Perform technical analyses using US Navy specifications, Design Data Sheets, Technical Manuals, and commercial rules.
- Interact with government and industry personnel.
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
- Technical Lead on small or Large projects.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of products including calculations, models, drawings and reports.
Candidate Requirements :
- U.S. Citizenship is Required with an Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- BS Degree or higher in Engineering.
- 8+ years of Structural Engineering experience on US Navy Ships and / or commercial maritime vessels.
- Experience should include but is not limited to : developing technical specifications, analysis reports, calculations, briefings, status reports and test procedures.
- Proficient with industry software including AutoCAD and Finite Element Software.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent MS Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly, both verbally and in written format.

Pay Range : Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
