Summary : Leads activities of workers engaged in packing and shipping product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Manage shipping schedule
- Quality check all material
- Print paperwork for shipping
- Pack and palletize material with team
- Audit paperwork with what is shipping-make sure all items on paperwork are being shipped. Bring up any discrepancies.
- Deliver pallets to shipping department
- Paperwork for PWOP and place pallets in PWOP.
- Clean and Organize area
- 5S and label everything
- Min / Max set on all shipping supplies
- Manage shipping supplies
- Answer questions from sales
Education / Experience :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four to six years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of windows software and ERP Systems.
Certificates and Licenses :
Forklift Certified
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Directly supervises 2-4 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
