Job Description :
Pay Range $31hr - $36hr
- Oversee project management of labeling projects from assignment through component release, ensuring timely completion of graphic development, artwork approvals, translations, artwork submission via the Documentum system, and print supplier proof approvals.
- Liaise with internal and external print production experts, including in-house printing engineers and external print suppliers.
- Maintain and manage artwork files, including digital files and artwork archives.
- Manage the artwork approval process, ensuring consistency with established standards.
- Coordinate global packaging graphics, ensuring the standardization of designs (Global Branding) for worldwide use.
- Ensure compliance with FDA and international regulations and maintain an understanding of regulated documents and change control.
- Collaborate with other functional areas to process multiple requests, prioritize schedules, and implement approved changes.
- Lead multiple projects and activities, conducting and / or participating in project meetings as required.
Education :
- BA in Graphic Design, BS in Packaging (Design), BS in Printing, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in graphic / labeling development and print production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
- Experience with BarTender, Loftware, NiceLabel, and FrameMaker is a plus.
- Experience in file development and workflow for multiple end uses, including print.
- Knowledge of digital asset management / digital workflow and XML is beneficial.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or in vitro diagnostics packaging.
- Experience with plant support related to documentation and specification changes affecting labeling and print changes.
Special Skills :
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
- Familiarity with Data Matrix codes.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and activities.
- Capability to handle quick turnarounds while maintaining high quality in a fast-paced environment.
