Responsibilities :
The Shift Lead oversees, both guest service and kitchen operations to ensure Dog Haus policies and procedures are met. Daily responsibilities include the following :
- Oversees the opening procedures and set-up, preparing the store to be guest-ready by opening.
- Able to manage food safety cleanliness guidelines.
- Works quickly and efficiently
- Is consistent and very reliable
- Willing to help develop store team members as well as visiting team members from other stores.
- Ensures that all communication and procedural tools are being used and followed.
- Motivates team members through positive encouragement, embracing the company culture.
- Able to lead shifts, while driving sales, reducing waste, and upholding Dog Haus quality standards.
- Manages shift labor to ensure proper staff utilization, proper employee breaks and overall labor efficiency during the shift.
- Able to ensure that all cash handling, reconciliation and credit card procedures are followed.
- Completes closing manager procedures.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older. Salary dependent on qualifications / experience.
Dog Haus creates hand-crafted all beef hot dogs and sausages with no added nitrates, 100% Black Angus beef burgers and unique fried chicken creations, all of which are made with hormone- and antibiotic-free meat and served on King's Hawaiian rolls, and all of which have garnered critical acclaim and national attention.
To chase it down, guests can select great craft beers from a tap list emphasizing local favorites or a signature cocktail, and they can finish their meals on a sweet note with premium shakes or soft-serve ice cream.
Open for lunch and dinner daily, guests can choose from signature, one-of-kind Haus creations or customize their own from a wide array of unique toppings.
