VHS is looking for an OB / GYN Hospitalist for Hobbs, NM!
Program Details
- Program Start Date : TBD
- 12 or 24 Hour Shifts : 24
- Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage : Yes
- Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions : No
- Hospitalists Needed for First Assist : Yes
- First Assist Available to the Hospitalists : Hospitalists to Backup Midwives : TBD
- Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice : No
- Backup Available to the Hospitalists : ED & General Surgery.
Hospital Details
- NICU Level : II
- Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.) : 30 Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists(monthly) : 30
- Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists 15 / day in clinic, 5 / day in hospital
- MFM onsite : No
- Residency Program : No
- In-house Anesthesia : Yes, During the day. CNRA on call at night.
Hospital Unit Includes -
- Seven fully equipped labor and delivery rooms
- 15 private OB / GYN suites
- Two suites for cesarean sections
- A fully equipped nursery to care for premature babies, and relationships with regional neonatal intensive care units (NICU) so that we can quickly and efficiently arrange a transfer if specialized care is needed
- Couplet care that emphasizes bonding between mother and baby
- High-tech security for peace of mind
- 24 / 7 monitoring for mother and baby
