Job Title : Project Engineer
Duration : 10 Months+ (Possibilities of extension)
Location : Newark, DE 19702 (100% Onsite)
Job Description :
Ø Duration : One year (Potential for extension or conversion based on business need, budget approval and worker performance).
Ø Interview process : First round - Onsite interview with the hiring manager and engineer on team / Second round - video interview with Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Ø The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below-mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
Ø Work with Manufacturing to create and modify assembly procedures and manufacturing test procedures using Microsoft Word and SolidWorks Composer.
Ø Create and manage Engineering Change Order documentation including drawings, Bills of Material and work instructions within Quality Management system.
Ø Write manufacturing Validation Protocols and Reports using approved templates with Engineering guidance.
Ø Create additional manufacturing documentation as needed to support New Product current manufacturing projects.
Ø Interact with team leader on project status and resolution of critical issues; Promptly escalate unresolved dependencies and issues, which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence.
Ø Learn and adapt to Client QMS and work closely with Client Engineering cross functional teams such as R&D, Manufacturing, and purchasing / planning etc.

Qualifications
Education :
Ø Associate (A.S) Degree or equivalent years of experience in Medical Manufacturing Operations.
Experience :
Ø Minimum five years’ experience in Manufacturing and / or Manufacturing Engineering in a continuous improvement capacity.
Medical Device Industry preferred.
Skills :
Ø Attention to detail.
Ø Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel to create technical documentation.
Ø Proficient in SolidWorks Composer.
Ø Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ø Ability to quickly distill complex information into actions / recommendations.
Ø Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Ø Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, and assembly
Ø Adept at putting together mechanical assemblies and wire routing.
