About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Medical Surgical - Orthopedics Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night 4x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years required License : Registered Nurse License Certifications : BLS, NIHSS Must-Have : EPIC experience Job Description : Provide care to a medical-surgical and orthopedic patient population.
- Manage a patient ratio of 1 : 6.- Float as required to units of equal or lesser acuity.- Participate in case-by-case block scheduling as needed.
- Utilize a centralized monitoring system for telemetry.- Work collaboratively with a free-floating charge nurse.- Partner with patient care technicians and patient transporters available on-site.
- Access assistance from a house discharge nurse that supports all departments.- Select any scrub color without logos during shifts.
- Complete required billable modules during onsite orientation, averaging 4-6 hours for RNs.- Benefit from discounted meals and local discounted hotel accommodations.
- Adhere to a 50-mile radius rule for eligibility : Travelers must reside 50 miles or more from the facility.- Engage in a supportive working environment with a focus on patient care excellence.
Please note that orientation modules are completed onsite and recorded via transcripts. All key competencies and requirements must be met before beginning the assignment.
