Job Description :
We're seeking an experienced customer-facing engineering professional to join our support engineering team in ANS. (Application Networking & Security) Division.
As a key member of the ANS. support organization, you'll drive customer satisfaction and success, contributing to product growth and development.
Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot complex NSX Security product issues, communicating with customers and finding viable solutions
- Reproduce and debug customer issues using lab environments and tools
- Provide tactical support, guidance, and resolution steps to customers
- Collaborate with account managers, engineering teams, and customers to resolve issues
- Document customer interactions, product usage trends, and feature requests
- Contribute to product documentation, knowledge base, and best practices guides
- Participate in periodic on-call rotation to cover production-down issues on weekends once every month.
Requirements :
- 8+ years of technical expertise in Escalation Engineering (or comparable customer-facing technical role)
- Comprehensive hands-on experience and in-depth understanding of how networking and security solutions interoperate, including routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion detection and prevention systems, is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux fundamentals, including file systems, networking, and security, with experience in managing Linux-based systems.
- Proficient in utilizing RESTful API clients, with a solid grasp of API requests, responses, and error handling mechanisms.
- Proficient Bash / Shell scripting skills are essential to develop and deploy swift and effective workarounds that resolve customer issues, ensuring seamless continuity of customer operations.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools, such as Ansible and Terraform, is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Candidate must have the legal right to work in the US.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $119,000 - $190,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
