Sr Field Property Risk Engineering Consultant REMOTE POSITION (residents of PA, NJ, MD, DE OR . only) Salary : $125,000 to $150,000
Job Duties :
- Conducting assessments and providing risk improvement services for property and natural hazards
- Reviewing plans and supporting change management initiatives
- Managing risk portfolios and offering account-specific risk engineering to meet underwriting and customer requirements
- Designing and implementing customer service strategies to minimize losses and enhance operations
- Providing engineering support to underwriters by attending client broker meetings
- Ensuring proper and timely delivery of property account engineering services
- Delivering advanced property consulting services, including identifying high-risk exposures, investigating major losses, and implementing property management programs
- Assisting in marketing risk transfer insurance products in collaboration with underwriting professionals and agents
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years’ experience in the field of Risk Engineering
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in the field of Risk Engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Skills :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or a related field
- Experience with High Protection Risk (HPR) properties
- Prior experience as an Account Executive or in Loss Control / Risk Engineering in the insurance industry
- Knowledge of the automotive manufacturing industry
- Certification as a Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)
- Excellent communication and consulting skills
- Strong collaborative abilities
- Demonstrated success in working within a team environment
- High proficiency in PC and software / systems
