LHH is seeking a patient-centric Front Desk Receptionist in Liberty, MO. This is a float position and is responsible for supporting locations multiple locations in KC Metro Area. This position is ONSITE
Skills and Abilities :
Strong proficiency in EHRs, Nextgen.
Exceptional multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Eagerness to learn basic medical terminology, read and review insurance plan information, and navigate insurance portals.
Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating a friendly atmosphere.
Collaborative and skilled at coordinating with others to achieve collective goals.
Team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with standard office software applications (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
Responsibilities :
Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at our centers.
Verify patient insurance information upon check-in.
Copy insurance cards and driver’s licenses for all new patients.
Collect patient paperwork and ensure accurate entry of patient information into systems.
Schedule, reschedule, and follow-up with patients for necessary appointments via phone, text, and email.
Review authorizations and connect with insurance providers
Travel to different site as needed (mileage reimbursed) to support absences, vacations, leaves.
