Our client in Wayne County, MI is actively seeking a Project Engineer to join their growing team.
The Project Engineer will be responsible for having the following skills and carrying out the following tasks :
- A degree in civil engineering or construction project management.
- At least 3-5 years experience in working as a project engineer. Experience on MDOT projects is a plus.
- Must be able to read drawings, specifications, and construction standards & details.
- Must have experience / understanding of underground water main, storm, and sanitary sewer systems.
- Must have great verbal communication skills and confidence to lead meetings.
- Must have experience with ITP, NOI, and BNA document control processes.
- Experienced with CAD.
- Experience with civil construction quality assurance and quality management is a plus.
- Experience with tracking submittals, RFI's, meeting minutes, etc.
- Construction scheduling experience.
