As an Assistant Manager of a brand that includes Men's, Women's and Kids outdoor apparel, footwear, camping gear and ski apparel, you are the link between the Regatta brand vision and the execution of that vision in your store.
You will be responsible for measurable growth through all aspects of the store including overall Store Operations, Merchandising, Customer Relationships, and Talent Development.
Responsibilities : Not meant to be an all-inclusive list but conveys a general scope of the position and function within the company.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the store to ensure its profitable, efficient, and customer driven focus. Know and convey to your team unique selling points of product range for optimum customer service and sales.
Build a brand loyal team by hiring, training, evaluating and motivating / coaching sales team to achieve highest standard of customer service.
Execute timely completion of all record keeping associated with hiring, terminations, payroll, reviews, safety training.
Communicates with the team in the UK and with US management to ensure the best possible customer experience and brand implementation.
Ensure sales goals are achieved by providing direction and leadership in sales techniques, customer service, product knowledge, and communication.
Oversee operating standards to include inventory management, product flow planning and execution, seasonal promotions and markdowns, marketing initiatives and overall visual presentation.
Communicate with US management on a weekly basis to share relevant market details and store success surrounding sales and customer service.
Continually track store performance and target progress. Develop a plan of action to correct unmet goals.
Requirements :
Relevant retail experience a must, as well as proven leadership / team building qualities / skills.
High School Education or Equivalent Required; College Degree preferred
Skill operating computers, POS systems, Microsoft Office
Apparel industry experience preferred but will consider other retail management experience
Job often exceeds an 8 hour per day / 40-hour week schedule during peak selling periods. Must be available to work a flexible retail store schedule Sunday to Saturday
