We are seeking a Residential Field Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for developing high performing teams.
The Residential Field Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of outside sales professionals, developing sales strategies, and ensuring that sales targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Expectations
- Daily Activity : 5 appointments and 10 proposals
- Recurring Units : 20 new recurring sales per month
- Annual Sales : $360,000 per salesperson
- Daily Field Management
- Attend check-in for salespeople at your branches to ensure they have scheduled a productive day.
- Train branch managers on proper check-in of salespeople.
- Review sales for pricing, protocol, and procedure.
- Train salespeople in the field each day to elevate the customer experience.
- Attend inspections to evaluate the salesperson’s ability to conduct an effective sales call.
- Teach the Branch leaders and Service Pro teams how to generate inspections for salespeople.
- Conduct proposed not sold follow-up calls to assist in closing pending sales.
- Check-out salespeople to discuss sales call outcomes and recognize wins
- Communicate daily sales results to the Region Director.
- Team Development
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Conduct weekly debriefs to provide direction, support and accountability.
- Lead productive weekly sales training focused on skill development.
- Communicate on team performance, daily activity, and direction to the Region Director.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or 10 years relevant experience.
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the residential sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective strategies.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as required to meet with customers and support the sales team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the home improvement or real estate industry.
- Knowledge of local market trends and consumer behavior.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
