What you’ll achieve

As a Technical Staff, Platform Architect, you will have the the opportunity to participate in the development of next generation large scale AI Infrastructure including accelerated compute, AI fabrics and AI optimized storage.

You will engage with high profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their applications and tune the system for maximum performance.

Be responsible for driving innovation at the datacenter level with liquid cooling technologies and power density. You will develop long-term technology strategies based on the technical and business information they maintain, where the strategy is developed with knowledge from the industry, marketing, development, manufacturing, procurement, and customer input

You will :

Participate in internal and industry forums where appropriate and acts as a point of escalation for critical development issues

Take the lead in shaping future products and provide expertise on multiple technologies / products

Generate IP including invention disclosures

Be responsible for owning multiple technologies or highly complex technologies

Leading role in strategic technical forums and meetings on a regular and consistent schedule and development and systems engineering as required when working tactical / time-to-market development issues

Essential Requirements

12+ years of professional experience with AI Compute and Storage platforms along with accelerator ecosystem from a hardware and software perspective with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Solid understanding and knowledge of AI compute design, network architecture & storage including the ability to develop automation scripts for validation, configuration and benchmarking

Ability to develop long-term technical relationships with the vendor base for the core technology or solutions to create a technical interface, driving those requirements into next generation vendor designs which includes maintaining a database of multi-year vendor / partner roadmaps with detailed feature trade-offs and ensures roadmap alignment by hosting regular ongoing technology reviews with the vendors / partners to ensure alignment with Dell business objectives

Experience identifying and developing and communicating differentiation opportunities, providing technical information and making recommendations to marketing, procurement, engineering, customers, and business executives

Desirable Requirements

Ability to understand competitive and business needs while developing technical solutions including the ability to travel to assess customer requirements & develop blueprint based on customer geographical area.

Advanced degrees or technical certifications

Compensation : Dell is committed to Fair and Equitable compensation practices. The Salary Range for this role in is $216,750.00 to $323,000.00.
