The Resident Success Agent-Finance (RSA-Finance) is a critical part of our mission to deliver timely,
accurate and professional customer service to all Residents, Board Members, and Clients of Unity, Inc.
RSA-Finance will assist owners and residents primarily through CRM database, live chat, and phone by
utilizing a variety of software tools. This position is expected to ensure exceptional service standards and
maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Under limited supervision, the RSA-Finance performs various accounting functions.
This position works with a team to handle accounts receivable and payable processing for thousands of clients.
Performs all work within the established guidelines of GAAP.
What Winning Looks Like :
- Respond to daily cases and tasks through the CRM database by the end of the day.
- Communicate with homeowners, residents and vendors through live chat, telephone, or email in a
professional manner.
- Capture any homeowner / resident interaction through the CRM database.
- Identify and capitalize on ways to connect and WOW our homeowners and residents’ needs to
achieve satisfaction by utilizing knowledge articles and job aids to determine and provide accurate
solutions.
Ensure each homeowner or resident is registered and familiar with their Unity portal. If not, guide
them through the registration process and walk them through completing requests online.
- Follow all communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Build sustainable relationships of trust, integrity, and respect in line with company values through
open and interactive communication both internally and externally.
- Responsible for communication with homeowner’s who have questions on their ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and year-end financials.
- Assist in the preparation activities of tax returns, Year-End adjusting journal entries, federal and
state quarterly payments and 1099 income reconciliation.
Monitor and analyze accounting data, balance sheet reconciliation, financial reports, and
statements.
Achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and
recommend strategic plans and reviews, resolve problems, and determine system improvements.
Skills Needed to Win :
Ability to assume a high level of accountability to execute and achieve results with strong
attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills, including maintaining focus on the customer request or task in a
fast-paced environment.
- Ability to write in a style that is both professional and polished.
- Ability to speak professionally and communicate with transparency
- The ability to adapt to different software and utilize technology quickly is required.
- Accounting experience, including areas of accounts receivable and payable and cash management.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills for monitoring accounting records and resolving
accounting problems.
Must have the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and follow through on work assignments in a
fast-paced environment.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills, including rolling up your sleeves
attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and in a supportive team environment.
- Proficiency in Outlook and Word is required.
- Proficiency in Salesforce is a plus but not required.
Salary :
The range for this role considers a wide range of factors in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certification, and other business and organizational needs.
Compensation decisions are based on the facts and circumstances of each case. The current range is a reasonable estimate.
