The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of a product or product line throughout the product lifecycle.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure the product meets customer needs and achieves business goals.

You will gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, define the product vision, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver winning products.

Responsibilities :

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on customer insights, market analysis, and company objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities and evaluate the product potential for growth.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align product strategies with business goals.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver product features on time and within scope.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business impact and customer feedback.
  • Lead the product development lifecycle, including sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and gaps in the market.
  • Engage with customers, prospects, and partners to gather feedback and validate assumptions.
  • Continuously monitor the product's performance against key metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communicate product plans, progress, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels, including executives, developers, sales, and marketing.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective go-to-market strategies and product launches.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring the product delivers maximum value to its users.
  • Champion user-centric design and advocate for customer needs throughout the development process.
  • Work closely with customer support teams to address product issues and identify areas for improvement.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, such as user engagement, retention, and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to different audiences.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
  • Familiarity with market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
  • Experience with SaaS or software products.
  • Understanding of UX / UI principles and design thinking methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Google Analytics.
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
