InMobi Exchange (IX) stands as one of the globe's premier mobile ad exchanges, boasting a vast network spanning tens of thousands of mobile applications and generating nearly 100 billion ad impressions monthly.

InMobi is actively seeking a visionary product leader to spearhead its mission, addressing the formidable challenges confronting today's ad tech landscape.

As the Director, Product Management, Exchange you will be instrumental in shaping the trajectory of our brand exchange, currently serving over 40,000 advertisers and agencies with campaigns spanning upper and mid-funnel objectives.

Your purview will extend to orchestrating the overarching strategy on the buy side, encompassing pivotal partnerships with data platforms, reseller platforms, and sales enablement tools.

Central to this strategy is the omnichannel acquisition of supply and the development of addressability solutions for buyers, necessitating a comprehensive grasp of the entire funnel from mobile app and web supply to the realization of advertiser campaign objectives within the programmatic ecosystem.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales will be paramount as we craft and execute product strategies attuned to market dynamics and corporate goals.

Your profound insights into the ad-tech industry, coupled with your adept leadership and analytical prowess, will be pivotal in steering our products towards success.

This role represents an opportunity of stratospheric impact, as your contributions will shape the next evolution of an already billion-dollar business, propelling you into a fast-track trajectory of product leadership within the enterprise and ad-tech domains.

Reporting to the VP of Product for IX, you will operate within a broader organizational framework encompassing product marketing and partner management functions.

This role is in-person and onsite in our San Mateo, CA office and is not open to remote locations. It also requires travel to Bangalore, India 1x per quarter.

The impact you'll make

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product roadmap for Brand Exchange products, in line with the company's strategic goals and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing and customer success teams to gather feedback from clients and translate it into actionable product improvements and features.
  • Gather and document detailed product requirements, ensuring they are well-defined, feasible, and covers all business use cases.
  • Work closely with the engineering and design teams to oversee the product development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.

The experience we need

  • 7+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager in the Advertising technology industry, with a strong track record of successfully launching and managing digital advertising products.
  • Deep understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, including ad exchanges, programmatic advertising, audience targeting, and RTB mechanics.
  • Familiarity with various Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) and their functionalities to be able to collaborate effectively with partners and optimize strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Familiarity with omnichannel supply and the evolving ecosystem of addressability solutions.
  • Ability to hustle with a strong sense of ownership
  • Strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills. Excellent communication skills
  • BA / BS degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience. An MBA or M.S. degree is a plus.

Our compensation philosophy enables us to provide competitive salary that drives high performance while balancing business needs and pay parity.

We determine compensation based on a wide variety of factors including role, nature of experience, skills and location.

The base salary (fixed) pay range for this role would range from $186,150 USD to $294,737 USD (min to max of base salary pay range).

This salary range is in applicable for our offices located in California and New York*. In addition, an InMobian may also receive variable pay in the form of quarterly variable bonus / sales incentive, as deemed per policy in addition to fixed compensation.

Our ranges may vary based on final location / region / or fully remote roles in accordance to the geographical differentiation in pay scales in the country.

In addition to cash compensation, based on the position, an InMobian can receive equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units.
